I have been coaching swimming for 10 years now. I started coaching in Jackson, Alabama for the Jackson Waverunners. During my tenure as head coach, the team became a not-for-profit independent club in 2005. In the summer of 2007 I became the Sports/Aquatics Director of the North Mobile Family YMCA. I began coaching the YMCA Tigersharks, and in the fall of 2008, with the support of the Tigersharks, I helped form SAY Swimming. I have been coaching for SAY since the fall of 2008.
I’m originally from Jackson, Alabama. I graduated from the University of Mobile in May of 2007 with a B.S. in Theology and a minor in Communication. I also coached high school football at Leroy High School, and in 2004 we were the 2A state champions for Alabama. As a coach, I enjoy instilling a passion for swimming in athletes, while watching them reach their full potential through a motivational and relational style of coaching.
